This print shows a woman dancing, her skirt flying up in a blur. You can almost hear the music and crowd noise behind her. She’s La Goulue, the famous Moulin Rouge dancer, caught mid-twirl by Toulouse-Lautrec’s sharp eye. Lautrec made this in 1894 as a poster ad. He used bold colors and rough lines to grab attention fast—lithography lets him do that. Want to see how he did it? Look up lithography.
