Olive Wood made this pen drawing in the 1940s. It shows a quiet religious scene with delicate lines. Most of her work was small and for children’s books. She trained at famous art schools in London. Her early art had flowing art nouveau patterns. Later she drew for popular yearly magazines. See more of her drawings at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
