This black-and-white photo shows a close-up corner of a wooden church. Rough planks curve over a small, arched window. Light barely catches a few details. The church is over 200 years old. It was built in the 1700s but the photo dates to 1982. Back then, photographers Elena Alterescu and Cătălina Marin documented traditional wedding textiles inside. You can still visit this church today. Look up the Museum of Ethnography to see more photos from their 1982 campaign.
