AA Chinese moneychanger seated at a table, with a standing figure is a 19 by George Chinnery, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This is a drawing from the 1800s. It shows a moneychanger at his table. Strings of coins lie there. One coin is in his hands. A customer stands beside him. George Chinnery made this during his stay in China. The drawing shows daily life in a busy port. Strings of coins were common then. People used these for trade.
