Cap de țărancă is a 1882 by Nicolae Grigorescu, held at Art Museum of Constanta.
This painting shows a woman’s face framed by a dark, fuzzy border—like she’s peeking through a curtain or heavy fabric. Her hair is pulled back, and she wears a simple dark dress with a light collar.
