H Beard Print Collection is a 21 by Charles Heath, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This print shows two angels lifting composer George Frideric Handel into a cloudy sky. Their wings glow while Handel holds a sheet of music. The angels look like they’re carrying him straight up. Handel’s face is calm but the angels’ faces show real effort. The clouds part just enough to frame him. This was made just 45 years after Handel died. Look for Heath, Charles next.
