Christ blessing the children

Christ blessing the children is an oil painting on panel by Jacob Willemsz de Wet, dated 1650. The work was formerly owned by the Dutch art historian and collector Abraham Bredius before entering the collection of the Rijksmuseum, where it is currently held. The painting measures 55 cm in height by 45 cm in width and depicts a religious scene with the blessing of children as its main subject.
