Korkeavuorenkatu 14-16, pohjoisesta päin is a 1897 by Rudolf Åkerblom, held at Helsinki City Museum.
This drawing shows a quiet village scene with simple wooden houses on a gentle hill. In the foreground, two cows graze on grass near a fence. To the right, a brick building with a tall chimney puffs out smoke, while smaller log cabins cluster behind it. The sky is pale, and the whole scene feels calm and everyday. The smoke from the chimney suggests this might be a working area, possibly a mill or factory. The artist used soft colors and loose lines to keep it feeling natural, not polished. Want to know more?
