Tower of the Chimes is a 1878 by Otto Henry Bacher, a Impressionism work, held at Cleveland Museum of Art.
This sketch shows a tall church tower with a pointed roof and small windows near the top. In front of it, there’s a shorter building with a slanted roof, and a few bare trees. The ground looks uneven, with some grass and a fence leaning to one side. The title says *Tower of the Chimes*, but the tower itself has no visible bells or clocks—just simple lines. The artist used quick, sketchy strokes to show light and shadow. Next, check out Otto H. Bacher (American, 1856–1909) to see how he worked.
