The handscroll Mt. Wuzhan was painted by the Ming-dynasty artist Song Xu in 1594. It was created in Jiaxing, where the artist was active.

By the late twentieth century the scroll had entered the Cleveland Museum of Art's collection under accession number 1998.78.3, where it remains. The museum's records identify the work as a painting by Song Xu and list its place of creation as Jiaxing.
