This painting shows a bearded man in a red robe making a gesture with his right hand, holding a scroll in his left. Behind him float two smaller figures in red robes, also gesturing. The background is mostly dark with a gold halo over the main figure’s head. The edges of the painting look worn, and the colors are flat with little shading. The scroll the main figure holds has writing on it, likely in an old script. The figures’ poses look stiff, and their faces have a serious expression. This style feels very old-fashioned.
