This sketch shows two women drying off after a bath. One sits on a stool, rubbing her hair with a towel. The other stands, also drying herself. The lines are loose and quick, like they were drawn fast. The paper looks rough, almost like the artist scratched into it. This was a common way to make prints back then. Try looking up etching to see how artists used acid and needles to create these kinds of drawings.
