Guy Little Theatrical Photograph is a 1893 photographic by Window & Grove, a Impressionism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This photo shows Ellen Terry acting on stage. It was taken in London, February 1893. The image comes from a glass negative printed on card. Actors often used these small photos to share their work. Fans collected them like trading cards. This one is bigger than the usual “carte de visite.” Look up the Victoria and Albert Museum to see more.
A sepia photograph from 1893 depicts Ellen Terry in the role of Fair Rosamund in *Becket* at the Lyceum Theatre. The image belongs to a collection of albumen prints on card mounts, typical of Victorian theatrical portraiture known as "cartes de visite" or "cabinet cards." It was later removed from its backing and included in an album assembled by collector Guy Tristram Little, who donated the collection to the Victoria and Albert Museum in the early 20th century.
