This image shows five tall, narrow scenes framed like arches, all carved into a single block of wood. The figures wear flowing robes and hold objects like swords or books. Some scenes have clouds, buildings, and people kneeling or standing—one figure is haloed, another holds a long staff. The lines are sharp and detailed, with lots of patterns in the background. The artist used a technique where ink is pressed into carved wood to make prints. This was common in the 1500s for spreading images quickly. Look up technique: woodcut to see how this print was made.
