Farm Track and Gates is a 1950 watercolor by Guy Malet, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This painting shows a quiet countryside scene with a winding dirt path leading to a small gate. A lone figure walks toward the gate, which stands open in a grassy area. The background has rolling hills, a few scattered houses, and trees with bare or budding branches. The artist used soft, blended colors to show light and shadow across the landscape. The brushstrokes are loose, giving the scene a gentle, natural feel. Look up Guy Malet next to see more of his work.
