Dispute between Luther and a Catholic Theologian is a 1535 by Sebald Beham, held at Cleveland Museum of Art.
This drawing shows two groups arguing. One side has a man in fancy clothes holding a book, pointing at the other group. The other group has a man in robes, also holding a book, and they look upset. Above them, a figure with a crown and halo floats, holding a cross and a sword, with clouds and light around him. Notice the smaller figures in the background—some carry bags, others hold tools or weapons. The artist used strong lines and shading to show the drama.
