Sähkökaappiteosta maalataan Kalervonkadulla. is a work by Toivo Koivisto, held at Helsinki City Museum.
This image shows two people standing outside on a quiet street. One person is painting on a large metal box, using bright orange and purple colors. The other person stands nearby with a small dog on a leash. A bicycle leans against a bush, and a few bags and supplies are on the ground next to the painter. The metal box the artist is working on looks like an electrical box, but it’s been turned into a canvas. The street sign in the background reads *Kalervonkatu*, which might be where this is happening. Check out the Museum of Ethnography to see where this drawing is kept.
Toivo Koivisto carried a paintbrush like others carry groceries—every errand turned into a side project.
