This sketch shows an old stone castle with thick walls and a round tower. In front, a person in a red coat walks through a tall archway. To the right, a small village has wooden houses and laundry hanging on lines. The sky is light blue with soft clouds, and the whole scene looks a bit faded. The artist used quick, loose brushstrokes to capture the rough texture of the stones and the worn look of the buildings. This style makes the scene feel real but also a little dreamy.
