H Beard Print Collection is a 1755 by Robert Pollard, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This print shows a girl blowing a very long wooden trumpet in a forest. The trumpet is six feet long and curls around her. The lute-like lure was a real instrument in Sweden’s north. Girls used it to call cows in the woods. The artist made this print after 1755. Look up Pollard, Robert to see more of his work.
An etching by Robert Pollard from 1755 depicts a portrait of a girl from Westrobothnia, shown blowing a lure, a trumpet measuring six feet in length traditionally used to call cattle in the forest.
