Asia. is a 1774 watercolor by Unknown, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This watercolour map shows Asia with some countries and rivers drawn in. It's a simple map, but what's interesting is that it was made by a child. The child only labeled countries in the Near East, and included some place names from the Old Testament. The map was kept in a special puzzle cabinet, and to learn more about similar maps, you can look up the Victoria and Albert Museum.
A watercolour and pen map of Asia, executed by a child, shows most national borders outlined while only the Near East includes named countries, rivers, and Old Testament place names; the sheet is tinted with watercolour washes in yellow for Asia, green for Africa, and pink for Europe. The drawing was part of a set of dissected map puzzles kept in Lady Charlotte Finch’s puzzle cabinet for the royal children of George III, where she served as governess from 1762 to 1792.
