The Junction: Near Hammersmith is a 1908 watercolor by Matthew Webb, a Post-Impressionism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
A watercolour and pastel on paper by Matthew Webb from 1908 shows a quiet, night-time street in suburban London, with a train passing along elevated tracks and releasing smoke into the air. The verso of the sheet bears a pencil sketch of a woman in profile, and the artist’s initials and the date appear in the lower left corner.
