Udkast til freskerne i Viborg Domkirke. Orgelbuen is a 1897 unspecified by Unknown, a Impressionism work, held at Statens Museum for Kunst.
This is a drawing of a church wall with three arches. The middle arch is the biggest, showing angels painted above it. Below, there’s a door with a small window. On the left, a small organ sits in a niche with two figures inside. The right arch has a carved stone frame with two people and animals carved into it. The labels say things like *"Orgelbuen"* (which means "organ arch") and *"Syngende engle"* (singing angels). The artist drew the church like it already exists, but it’s actually a plan for a real building. If you like this kind of church design, look up chiaroscuro to see how light and shadow create depth in art.
