This painting shows a rocky cliff by the sea. A small waterfall pours down the side, hitting the water below. The sky is light and hazy, while the mountains in the distance are soft and blue. The artist used loose brushstrokes to capture the rough texture of the rocks and the movement of the water. The colors are mostly earthy tones with a splash of white where the waterfall lands. If you like this style, look up Impressionism.
