This engraving shows a crowded church scene with people gathered around a confession booth. A priest stands inside the booth, listening to a kneeling woman while others watch or wait. The room has dark walls, wooden chairs, and a few candles burning. Notice how the artist used shading to make the robes and faces look almost three-dimensional.
