Obiectul reprezintă un ou încondeiat cu ceară de albine, golit de conținut printr-un orificiu și colorat cu vopsea industrială roșie. Decorul, dispus pe toată suprafața oului este realizat prin redarea în culoarea naturală a oului a unor floricu cinci, respectiv șase petale și frunze din aceeași culoare. Pe o față a oului se observă inscripția în culoarea naturală a oului ” 1978 Ӎан. Робаница ”Х.В.”. Pictarea se realiza prin scufundarea oului în culorile încălzite în care se adăuga piatră acră, pentru fixare. Ulterior oul, introdus în cuptorul încălzit era șters de ceară și impermeabilizat prin ungere cu ulei vegetal.
