This sketch shows four lions in action, drawn with quick, loose lines. Two lions are mid-pounce, mouths open wide, while the others crouch or stalk. The background is empty except for a few scattered dots—maybe rocks or water. Some areas are lightly shaded with brown or gray, but most of it is just ink on a faded paper. The artist focused on movement, leaving out tiny details to keep the lines fluid. The lions look fierce but also a little wild, almost like they’re caught in a moment of raw energy. Check out the Romanticism movement next—it loved bold, dramatic scenes like this.
