Dunes and Rushes is a 1850 by Unknown, held at Statens Museum for Kunst.
This photo shows a quiet, windswept landscape with tall grasses swaying in the foreground. Behind them, a steep, rocky cliff rises, its surface rough and uneven. The sky above is pale, almost blending into the light tones of the dunes. The grasses look like they’re moving, even though it’s still.
