This black-and-white photo shows two figures tangled together, their arms and legs wrapped around each other. The person on the left is reaching upward, while the one on the right leans in close, almost hidden behind a curtain of hair. Their faces are blurred, making it hard to read any emotion. The grainy texture and strong light-and-shadow contrast give it a rough, almost scratched look. This photo was taken by an artist who signs as *2001_person* and is now in the Museum of Ethnography. If you like this style, check out *chiaroscuro* for more on dramatic lighting.
