This etching shows a boy sitting under a tree, holding a basket and a small dog. Behind him, a sleeping man rests on the ground. The scene is framed by a decorative border with leaves and swirls, and the whole image is in shades of gray. The boy looks like he’s about to leave, maybe on a journey, while the man sleeps nearby. The trees and light suggest a peaceful outdoor setting. This style is part of the Baroque movement.
