Four Singing Commedia Dell'Arte Characters is a 1711 watercolor by Claude Gillot, a Baroque work, held at National Gallery of Art.
This sketch shows four people dressed in old-fashioned costumes. One holds a hoop, another plays a violin, and the last two wear tall hats and hold masks. The lines are simple and the colors are mostly gray and brown. The violin player stands still while the others move. Their clothes look like they’re from a long time ago.
