Road to the Spaniards, Hampstead is a landscape painted by the English artist John Constable in 1822. The work looks out over Hampstead Heath, showing Spaniards Road as it heads toward Highgate. A notable detail is the Spaniards Inn on the left, which gives the road its name, and the sky is filled with looming storm clouds that Constable emphasized during an overcast July day.
