Rest on the Flight into Egypt is a 1593 ink by Jan Muller, a Renaissance work, held at National Gallery of Art.
This black-and-white engraving shows a woman holding a baby under a tree. She’s sitting on the ground, looking down at the child. Behind them, branches spread out, and a cloth hangs nearby.
