This sketch shows a lone figure walking a dog along a dirt path. In the distance, a herd of sheep grazes on rolling hills with scattered trees. The lines are rough and dark, giving the scene a simple, almost sketchy feel. The artist used a method called lithography, where the image is drawn on a flat stone before being printed.
