This sketch shows a narrow river with a bridge in the distance. On either side, tall buildings lean in, their windows and doors drawn with quick, sketchy lines. The paper looks rough, and the lines are uneven—like the artist worked fast. The bridge looks old, with a slight arch and a few people or objects on it. The buildings on the left have a row of small windows stacked up, while the right side shows a taller, narrower structure with fewer details. This is made using etching, a technique where the artist scratches into metal plates to create lines.
