The Last Supper is a 1513 ink by Albrecht Altdorfer, a Renaissance work, held at National Gallery of Art.
This woodcut shows a group of men gathered around a table, eating and drinking. The room has a large window with a diamond-patterned grid, letting in light. One man sits apart, looking down, while others reach for food or talk. The scene feels crowded but orderly, with simple shapes and bold lines.
