This painting shows a boy in a red-and-white striped shirt and blue hat leading a white cow. The cow has two big leather water bags strapped to its back, and a smaller one on the ground. The boy holds a stick, and the whole scene looks simple and flat, with soft watercolor strokes. The handwritten note at the top explains the water bags are called *matkas* and *pukhals*—used for carrying water. This was a common way to transport water in some places long ago.
