This painting shows five robed figures in a dim, earthy setting. Four men kneel or stand in dark clothes, their faces turned upward. Above them float two winged beings—one holds a glowing cup, the other a sunburst with the word *CHARITAS* on it. The colors are muted browns and golds, with patches of faded light. The kneeling man on the left holds a small brush and a red cloth, as if he’s just painted or cleaned something. The figures look serious, almost reverent, focused on the heavenly figures above.
