Jin pin feng is a 1780 paint by Unknown, a Rococo painting work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This painting shows a single branch with small red flowers and green leaves. The branch curves gently, resting against a light blue-green background. Some leaves are fresh and bright, while others are dried and brown. The artist focused on details like tiny buds and the texture of the bark. The painting feels calm and precise, like a quiet moment in nature. Next, check out the Victoria and Albert Museum to see more works like this.
A watercolour painting from around 1780, rendered in subdued tones, shows a tree leaning to the right, bearing single brown leaves, clusters of green foliage, and small red flowers that may represent the jin ping feng species. The work was acquired from E. Parsons and entered the collection in 1889, as recorded during a 2022 provenance research project in the Asia Department registers.
