The Wreath - Sheet Music Cover is a 1855 by Winslow Homer, a Impressionism work, held at Cleveland Museum of Art.
This is a black-and-white sheet music cover for a march called *The Wreath*. At the top, a wreath of leaves and flowers frames the words "To His Excellency Andrew Johnson, Gov. of Tenn." Below, a serious man in a dark suit and bow tie faces forward, his hands clasped. The border has more leafy designs and small musical notes. The text says the music was composed by Henry Schwing and published by Oliver Ditson. The whole thing looks like an old-fashioned print, with careful shading to show the man’s face and clothes.
