Guy Little Theatrical Photograph is a 1850 photographic by Albert, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This photo shows Adelina Patti, a famous singer from the 1800s. It’s a cabinet card, a type of photograph on stiff cardboard. Cabinet cards became popular in the 1870s and were stronger than earlier photo cards. Back then, actors and singers often posed for these pictures. They sold them to fans or used them as calling cards. Patti’s photo was one of thousands made in studios. Check out other cabinet cards at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
