This painting shows a group of people on horseback, walking in a line. They are all wearing old-fashioned clothing and some of them are carrying things like baskets or bags. In the background, there are hills and a building that looks like a church. The people in the painting seem to be on a journey together. Some of them are looking at each other and talking, while others are looking ahead at the road. The horses are all different sizes and breeds, and some of them have saddles and bridles. The painting is very detailed and you can see a lot of different textures and patterns in the clothing and the horses' fur. It's a beautiful picture that makes you want to know more about the people and where they're going. Check out more works by artist Blake, William.
