This chromolithograph reproduces Filippino Lippi’s Virgin and Child, depicting the Virgin kneeling beside the infant Jesus lying on rocky ground, with Saint Anthony Abbot in the foreground and Saint John the Baptist above him, while the Holy Trinity appears at the top. Produced for the Arundel Society, the print was created using multiple stones, each dedicated to a different color, following the transfer of a watercolor copy of the original fresco cycle.
