About this work

This painting shows a giant white snake floating on water. On top of it sits a woman in a pink dress, holding a lotus flower. Around her are other people, some riding a white cow and others standing on the shore. The snake’s head is open, revealing a small boat with two men inside. One man holds a golden object, while the other looks down. The colors are bright but faded, with lots of gold and blue details.
