It entered the collection of the Rijksmuseum through successive ownership by Cornelis Calkoen and his son Nicolaas Calkoen, who transferred the work to the museum’s holdings related to Levantine trade and Dutch diplomatic circles in the Netherlands. The artwork remains part of the Rijksmuseum’s collection today.

The painting is held by the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. According to Wikidata records, it is part of the museum's collection and is associated with several predecessor holdings, including the Directie van de Levantse handel en de Navigatie op de Middellandse Zee, the Koninklijk Kabinet van Zeldzaamheden, and the Nederlandsch Museum voor Geschiedenis en Kunst.
