Sudama is a 1775 paint by Unknown, a Rococo painting work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This painting shows a man in a yellow robe standing in a green landscape. He has his arms raised and looks up at the sky. There are trees, hills, and birds around him. The man is the main focus of the painting, but the background is also detailed. The hills and trees are painted in shades of green, and the sky is light gray with some birds flying in it. The painting is held at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The painting depicts Sudama encountering the golden palace of Krishna in Dwarka, rendered in opaque watercolour on paper. Green, undulating hills surround him, while the sea above swirls with fish, crocodiles, and fantastical green and pink creatures. It illustrates an episode from the Krishna-Sudama narrative in the Bhagavata Purana. The work dates to 1775 and is attributed to an unknown artist.
