This painting shows two saints, John the Baptist and Catherine of Alexandria. They are easily identifiable by their clothes and the things they hold. The painting is interesting because it was once part of a bigger piece, with other saints on either side of a central image, probably of a Virgin and Child. You can learn more about the artist who made this, Workshop of Paolo Veneziano.
