A watercolour copy by Emilio Costantini after Fra Angelico’s fresco *Christ as Pilgrim Received by Two Dominicans* in the Convento di San Marco, Florence, depicts three figures beneath an arched top against a dark background, with Christ holding a walking staff flanked by two Dominican friars. Executed in the 1880s for the Arundel Society, the work was later reproduced as a chromolithograph in 1891. Fra Angelico painted the original frescoes in the 1440s as part of the decoration of the convent, designed by Michelozzo.
