About
Die Blaue Vier (The Blue Four) was an artist group formed in 1924 in Weimar, Germany, by Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Lyonel Feininger, and Alexej von Jawlensky. Established through the initiative of dealer Galka Scheyer, the group aimed to exhibit and sell their works collectively, particularly in the United States, continuing the legacy of the earlier Blue Rider movement.
